Shivers of disgust ricocheted across my back as I contemplated the possibility of Tony Chu eating a diaper full of baby poop. A masterfully attention grabbing first page greeted my eyes and sucked me into this issue of the Chew series.

The opening panels of the comic show her staggering out of an alley way in her panties, dripping gore from her wounds and slightly rotten effluence. Two drunks stumble upon her, and quickly assess her ‘assets’ to be worth their attention. She quickly bites the face off the first and decapitates the second in a single movement. This first scene lays the foundation for the rest of the issue.
