Now residing with his wife, Sheila, in Niagara Falls, New York, this Buffalo native discovered his love for writing as a freshman at Hutch-Tech High School. Following his graduation, he served in the United States Army, where he also began his pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Communications. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the military, he continued his college work and became interested in Emergency Medical Services. He joined the Volunteer Fire Service and was elected Rescue Captain, Fire Captain, President and Secretary during his twelve years of community service. His career in training also began during that time as a five-year volunteer First Aid and Disaster Preparedness instructor for the American Red Cross. He became heavily involved in computer technology as an Operations / Training Manager of a multiple outlet automotive franchise, computerizing the entire local chain and introducing a specialized Point-of-Sale program designed to automate most of the clerical and accounting functions of the stores. An active Freemason, he is a Past Master of Niagara Frontier Lodge in Niagara Falls. His special interest articles on Masonry have earned him the title of Contributing Editor for American Mason Magazine. | |
